For vertical rotor it was developed the method for evaluation of liquid ABU effectiveness and mathematical model describing stationary motion of rotor system on the base of dynamics of motion of solid body with a hollow which contains free surface liquid. Models' analysis showed: all-speed automatic balancing of vertical flexible rotor; automatic balancing by liquid is effective for elastic strain rotors, rotors on elastic supports where phase shift is obvious between direction of imbalance force and rotor deflection or rotor shift.
