The research aim is to study the efficiency and expediency of using bone marrow stromal cells at vascular pathology in animals with experimental dystrophic diseases and impairments of retina and cornea. Ophthalmologic research methods: - computer perimetry; - biomicroscopy; - HRT-tomography There were studied the ways of migration of bone marrow stromal cells after their injection at the presence of model pathology of retina. There was investigated the morphological structure of retina and cornea within recovery period at model pathology after injection of stromal cells. For the first time there was designed biological coating using stromal cells of bone marrow for treatment of cornea damages and dystrophies. There was proved the efficiency of effect of cell therapy with the use of bone marrow mesenchymal cells on reparative processes in ocular tissues in experimental animals with dystrophic damages of cornea and retina, as well as at inflammatory processes in these tissues. Novel methods of recovery of damaged ocular structures were developed.
