It is established that frequency of multifocality in prospective study was 3,7% and in combined analysis of prospective and retrospective data 2,2%. Satellite focus of cancer detection was possible preoperatively only in 28% of cases. It is evident that multifocality of renal cell cancer (RCC) does not depend on the size, stage, histological gradation and microscopic vascular invasion of the tumour.
