This work represents detail descriptions, key and original drawings of 183 mite species, including 57 ones as new for the science. The primitive groups of Heterostigmata were studied for the first time in Crimea. Some adaptive changes of the legs and body chaetome as well as anchoring, sensory and mothparts structures were analized by example of free-living and parasitic mites of the family Ereynetidae. For molecular-genetic and ultrastructural investigations the representatives of the families Pygmephoridae and Ereynetidae were prepared.
