M.I.Sitenko popup.description2 At present time for the surgical treatment of the juvenile idiopathic scoliosis systems which are used result in restriction of the patients growth, loss of the correction and pathological spinal rotation. The new system for the surgical treatment of the juvenile idiopathic scoliosis is developed. This system allows to preserve spinal growth, to perform convex epyphiseodesis, to perform polysegmental three dimensional correction of the deformity, to preserve sagittal spinal contour and provide minimal loss of the surgical correction after operation. Using mathematical model and morphometric investigation possibility of transpedicular spinal instrumentation in growing children was grounded. New growing system “MOST-2” was developed. On the clinical material was proved high efficacy of the developed system for the surgical treatment of the juvenile idiopathic scoliosis in growing children.
