Purpose: to develop the indications for spiral computed tomography with modern nonionic contrast media Methods: apiral CT with bolus innjection of contrast media. 1500 spiral CT investigaations with contrast media bolus injection in patients with pathology of lung, mediastinum, abdomen, pelvis, head, neck and vessels were analyzed. The age of the ppaatients was from newborns to 84 years. Results: The analyses of the resulns demonstrated that the quality of contrast media bolus injection depends on the injection rate, iodine concentration, time of scanning delay and time of scanning itself.
