Purpose: Scien tific grounding and development of standartized protocols for MRI with contrast media on the basis gadolinium that can provide the most iformative results in ivestigation of patients with pathology of brain and spinal cord, musculoskeletal system, abdomen and small pelvis. Methods: MRI application with contrast media. Results: It was proved that precision of differential diagnostics of benign and malignant neoplasm of brain and spinal cord, musculoskeletal system, abdomen and small pelvis rises for 5-19% at combined analysis of localization, differences in character of MR signal, intratumoral distribution and perfusion Gd-DTPA and to exceed informativity of CT investigation with contrast media. Practical importens of the work is in the development of MR investigation optimal protocol of the patients suspected for the presenct of tumor or other pathologic processes that promotes the redaction of the investigation time and allows applying of all the hossibilities of the mrthod.
