The analysis of methods of providing of the comfort thermal mode of mobile composition of railways is conducted. Analytical dependences are got in relation to convection heatmasstrasfer air in the salon of passenger carriage and operator's cab and thermal balance taking into account the internal sources of warmth, heatexchange through a wall and external radiation thermal stream. Equalizations which allow to define the coefficients of heat conductivity of porous materials are developed. Experimental researches are conducted on determination of perspective charts of conditioning of modern mobile composition of railways and heatisolation material is developed for mobile composition of railways on the basis of foamglass.
