The developed technique of theoretical researches and mathematical model that gives functional dependence between parameters of processes of friction of the contacting bodies that are investigated, allows to study functional qualities of the machine while its design modification or separate parametric variations. The achieved theoretical techniques and mathematical model have allowed developing constructive and technological recommendations to reduce the bodies' deterioration in friction pairs and increase traction qualities of transport machines. The results of this work can be used for specialists' training - designers, technologists and operators; for solving the applied problems of the new rail crews' development with the improved traction-dynamic qualities; for the research divisions dealing with the problem of friction and deterioration, researches of transport machines traction qualities.
