The aim of investigation were to carry out monitoring observations of the state and stability of water and land phytocenoces; the establishment of the effect of environmental factors on ?-carotene production in Dunaliella salina cells at natural and laboratory conditions; the determination of possibilities of culturing 10 species of herbaceous plants. According to technical specifications during 2008 there were carried out cameral processing of the materials of previous research stages; ecological certification of biogeocenoses of natural and populated territories and sanitary and ecological characterization of water bodies of Livoberezhna Ukraine with variuos levels of antropogenic loading; investigation of the effect of light conditions on some physiological and biochemical processes in the cells of natural and laboratory cultures of Dunaliella salina; studying of generative period of herbaceous plants ontogenesis. By the results of investigations in 2006-2008 there were defended 18 degree and 34 qualification works. 1 candidate thesis was prepared to defense (O.V. Raida). The materials of research work were published in 62 research papers. The results were reported at 13 international and national congresses and conferences.
