The purpose of work - carried out of theoretical researches on optimisation of parameters of the basic (base) nodes of Ukrainian machines for flax and their junction on the modular fundamentals in a fibre-flax combine. Methods of research - theoretical, mathematical simulation of operation of flax-harvesting aggregates by compiling of systems of the differential equations of movement, their solution on the computer and definition of optimum parameters. Results of the carried out researches - the new theory of plane-parallel movement of a self-propelled fibre-flax combine in a horizontal plane is developed. The numerical solution on the computer systems of the differential equations of a fibre-flax combine movement has allowed defining optimum parameters of the aggregate. Mathematical models of oscillating motions of self-propelled and hook-onfibre-flax combines are constructed. The solution on the computer of systems of the differential equations of fibre-flax combines oscillating motions has allowed defining their optimum parameters. The theory of a bruising of flax stalks is developed. Range of application - outcomes of researchers are introduced at factories of agricultural machine industry.
