Oxidizing and thermo-contact pyrolysis of Dneprovskiy brown coal has been studied. The technological scheme and methods to calculate low capacity industry steam generator with fixed bed capable of produc-tion middle- and low- LHV syngas have been developed. Retention of hydrogen sulfide by limestone in a zone of flu-idized bed has been worked out. 40 kg/h experimental rig with pyrolyzer located in the circulation loop of CFB, sepa-rated on gas from cyclone and reactor, was created. Optimal regimes of pyrolysis, coke combustion, and H2S retention were determined. Initial data to design demonstration gas-generator has been produced as well as proposal for selection and preparation of solid fuel, recommendations on further conversion of syngas to motor fuel.
