For realization of this purpose were: the isothermal sections of the phase diagrams of the (Ce,Nd,Sm,Dy)-Cо-Sn, Dy-Ag-Sn, (Nd,Sm,Dy)-Ni-Sn, Hf-Cu-Sb, (Dy,Lu)-Cu-Sn, and Zr-Ni-Sb systems were plotted; the crystal structure of Zr3NiSb7, Dy2Ni7Sn3, R3Co4Sn13 (R=Pr,Nd), R3Ni8Sn4 (R=Sm,Gd), R3Ag4Sn4 (R=Y,Gd,Tb,Ho,Er), RAgSn2 (R=Y,Gd-Dy,Ho,Er), and R4Ni12Sn25 (R=Nd,Dy) ternary compounds were refined by X-ray methods; physical properties of Zr1-xDyxNiSn, ZrNiSn1-xInx, ZrNi1-хFeхSn, ZrNi1-xMnxSn, TiNiSn1-xInx, Ti1-хVхCoSb та SmCo9-xFexSi4 solid solutions were investigated; electronic structure of the RNi3Sn2 (R = Y, Gd) compounds and Zr1-xDyxNiSn, ZrNiSn1-xInx, ZrNi1-xMnxSn, TiNiSn1-xInx, Ti1-хVхCoSb related solid solutions alloys was calculated.
