The new inorganic and intermetallic compounds with modulated structures were synthesized and their crystal structures were determined. The principal factors that promote the formation of nano-modulated and composite structures were revealed. The new program software for the solution of crystal structures of modulated and composite compounds was developed. The mathematical tools were developed for description of form of modulation wave with supersymmetry consideration and krenel function for modulation of infill.
