Malaya of Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences" popup.description2 The subject of the study: patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) with and without 2 type diabetes mellitus (DM). Methods: clinical, instrumental, immunobiochemical. Results: IHD in patients with DM characterized by more pronounced immunoinflammatory activation and oxidative stress. Endothelium dysfunction in patients with DM considerably increased in hyperglycemia. One of the specific determinants of atherogenesis and heart failure progression are in patients with DM are lipoprotein-containing immune complexes. With comparable hypocholesterolemic action in patient with DM atorvastatin in comparison with simvastatin shown greater pleiotropic activity, led to more substantial improvement of patient's quality of life, more efficiently prevented cardiovascular events and atherosclerosis progression. The predictors of insufficient clinical efficiency of simvastatin were excessive immunoinflammatory activity, endothelial dysfunction, hypertriglyceridemia. It was shown, that in patients with DM carvedilolin contrast to bisoprolol contributed to the diminution of insulinoresistance, glycemia, oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction.
