Reserves of their improvement at the expense of construction perfection were defined. Formalized description of gondola cars improvement problem was developed, the base of this description is packaged hierarchy circuit which has been built with allocation of modules. New construction of main parts of carriage and carbody of railway gondola car was proposed. By means of Finite Elements Method calculation investigations for determination of strain- deformation station of main elements of gondola cars given if this paper were carried out. It was shown that application of given technical solutions will provide essential improvement of technical and economical indices of tetraaxial gondola cars.
