Because of anisotropy of physical properties of metal, the deformation is first concentrated in boundary zones of the neighbouring grains due to movement of dislocations, which is indicative of increase in density of these zones. This mechanism can take place in formation of ductility dip cracks, and will make it possible to create conditions for preventing them.
