The adaptive control system for HVEC was developed based on fuzzy inverse model of the object. The system provides required modes of operation for electric pulse machining of objects with complex shape under variable environment. The mock-up of the adaptive control system and science-based recommendations for creating of adaptive control systems for high-voltage electrotechnical complexes were designed. The results of research was implemented in control system of charge device for surge current generator. Implemented system allows smooth power adjustment within 1,5 - 10 kW range.
