In the absence of NL in REM/FM films direct exchange interaction dominates leading to arise of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy at REM/FM interface. At the thickness of NL up to 1,5 nanometers corresponding to the radius of REM-FM interactions, both direct and indirect coupling coexists.
