New Mg-based composites for hydrogen storage have been developed. New compositions of hydrogen storage materials with the use of graphite and oxygen-stabilised Ti-based intermetallics are proposed, they reveal high hydrogenation capacity of 5-7 wt.%, and enhanced kinetics of hydrogen absorption and desorption. The catalytic influence of O-stabilized Ti-based intermetallics on hydrogenation/dehydrogenation of magnesium has been detected.
