Research object is physical process of electromagnetic fields forming in single complex element and finite periodic sequences of complex elements, which are placed in free space and waveguide. Research target is scattered fields of electromagnetic waves from above mentioned field control system. Work aim is to develop mathematical models of active and passive electromagnetic fields control systems based on single complex resonance volume and finite periodic sequence of such volumes. Study aim is determine and physical analysis of analytical solution of the wave scattering problem for above mentioned structures; define new functionalities and their optimal composition, geometry and medium parameters, which provide achievement of high quality operation characteristics. Study method for T-type conjunction of two rectangular waveguides with arbitrary form inclusion from perfect conductor is based on method of Green theorem and integral equations. Investigation of perfect and defect finite periodic sequence of complex scatterers is based on method of circuit theory and matrix functions, which were developed at theoretical radiophysics department. To solve the diffraction problem for single scatterer we used the complex approach that unites exact diffraction method (method of moments) and approximate method of equivalent boundary conditions. Works deals with development of method of research of single complex resonance volume and their finite periodic sequences. The mathematical model of mode and frequency waveguide filters on the basis of single passing resonator with piecewise homogeneous dielectric filling and frequent corrugated and their sequence; model of band frequency and polarization filters on basis perfect and defect finite periodic sequences of the strip grids and resistive films in free space; model of T-type conjunction of two rectangular waveguides with arbitrary perfect conducting inclusion were developed in work. Influence of type and placeof defect on characteristics of plane electromagnetic waves scattering by finite periodic sequence of strip grids and resistive films was investigated. The conditions of forming of high-Q eigen oscillations of resonator and very narrow passband their finite periodic sequence were discovered. Electrodynamics properties of T-type conjunction of rectangular waveguides with step-like perfect conducting inclusion like were investigated. Work direct toward development and design of millimeter and centimeter bands devices such as multifunctional electromagnetic field control devices. The matter concerns resonant and band frequency, mode and polarization selectors; high-Q resonators; frequency stabilizer and discriminator; absorbing cover and semi-transparent surfaces with improved characteristics; field transformators for system of non-destructive control of technological process; waveguide devices such as power divider, multiplier, filter and etc. The perspective direction of presented thematic development are itsgeneralization for control devices for waveguide; investigation of wave interaction with medium that demonstrate complex response on electromagnetic wave (chirality, biisotropy, anisotropy); developed theory generalization for the case of control devices of infrared and optical bands that will be maximum approached to real exploitation conditions (it means taking to account the finite conductivity of metal elements, dispersion and etc.).
