The ways of strengthening Ukrainian national identity, forming the single humanitarian space, and formulating and implementing national ethnic policy and memory policy have been proposed. The role of the State in settling ethno-political and religious differences in Crimea has been defined. The Ukrainian information space has been assessed and a series of proposals for optimal public policy in the information sphere has been suggested.
