The foundation has the vertical cylindrical hole. The layers are homogeneous, isotropic, and unlimited in radial direction. An elastic semispace is considered to be the bottom layer. Two important particular cases of the first boundary problem, when the normal (tangential) load over the circumference is given on the upper boundary of the foundation, have been studied comprehensively.
