The broadcasted products were examined primarily with regards to their language, national origin, and functional purpose of the musical content (educational, entertaining, informational, etc.) As the result, key tendencies were discovered in the development of the musical programming of Ukrainian TV, radio, and the Internet. On one hand, one sees growing versatility of musical programming and the emergence of new national musical TV channels and Internet resources. On the other hand, the dominance of easy entertainment programs and of imported, mostly Russian products, is apparent.
