Purpose of work is determination of HPP power units' possibility of participation in power frequency control of Ukraine UES in accordance with the USTE requirements and possibility of power units and their control systems for adduction in accordance with the indicated requirements modernization technical project development. The results of power units' the equipment and control, executive systems condition inspection for the purpose of their readiness to participation in regulation at a modern level are adduced. The inspections engulf the wide frame of questions regarding supplying with fuels of HPP and preparation system for its firing, condition of furnace and burner's equipment and boilers operation modes, determination of bottlenecks on expansion of loading at different fuels regulation range, turbines of 200 and 300 MW control systems operation. The real picture according to the level and condition of the control and executive systems operation hardware and foreign HPP experience in the effective frequency and power regulation providing is given.
