Aim of work - development of the theoretical and methodological basics for systems of economic information processing. In the investigations following methods were used: logical generalization, system analysis and synthesis, dinamic and complex ones, system approach, simulation technique, factor analysis, expert and rating evaluation. As the source of information official ststistical reports as well as documentation of specific enterprises were used. Study and simulation of such complex systems as social and economic structure of a city, an industrial enterprise in conditions of modern market were carried out. Formal schemes that make possible to specify the difference between adaptive and intellectual systems were developed. Basic factors that imply on competitive strength of industrial enterprise were found. To provide effective strategic planning of the enterprise activity the balance model was proposed making possible evaluation of development alternatives. Economic mathematical models providing effective decisions at planning of municipal development, enterprises' and financial/educational institutions' activities were developed.
