The following was executed: air sampling onto aerosol filters; precision laboratory measuring to determinate total volume activities of alpha- and beta-radiating radionuclides, volume activities of natural radionuclides Pb-210, Po-210, Ra-226, Th-230, U-238 in the air; values of their determined volume activities in the air were compared with the values of permissible concentrations for proper radionuclides, which are given in NRBU-97 (Ukrainian National Standard for Radiation Safety). The radiation condition of the control area and supervised area was analyzed; air, soil, superficial and ground water contamination in the early 2009 was assessed; it was shown that radiation impact did not exceed the values permitted by radiation safety regulations.
