Purpose of the research: improvement of antitumor therapy efficacy and quality of life in cancer patients by means of working out the technique of pharmacological correction of immune disorders using immunomodulators and chronobiotics during radiation therapy. Methods of the research and equipment: hematological, immunological, microscopes, spectrophotometer, hematological and immunoenzyme analyzers. Results and novelty: For the first time, a new technique of accompanying immunotherapy was worked out with the consideration of the obtained findings about the immune state and melanin-creating function of the organism of cancer patients during radiation therapy. The protocols include polyoxidonium, cycloferonum and melatonin which protect the most vulnerable links of the immune system by radiation therapy. The optimal dose of melatonin was determined. It was proven that the worked out protocol of accompanying therapy promotes preservation and restoration of hemato-immune indices and improves the quality of life of cancer patients. Greater tolerance of rats to irradiation at 8 p.m. vs 8.00 am and less radiosensitivity of hyporeactive animals was determined. Area of application: medicine, oncology, radiation therapy.
