Mineral additions of different nature and reactionary ability allowed to attain the high indexes of technological properties of concrete mixtures, durability, closeness, longevity of concretes taking into account the factors of ecology and economy of financial and power resources. At the same time mineral additions complicate co-operation between the components of concrete, especially with cement on the initial stages of hardening depending on composition and maintenance of additions. To estimate the effect of introduction of additions from point of their influence on the processes of hardening of cement and concrete very difficultly. Traditionally this estimation is conducted at empiric level from data of physical-chemical tests. In this research for the quantitative estimation of influence of mineral additions on hardening of cement a thermokinetical analysis is utillized on the basis of method of differential microcalorimetry. Taking into account specific properties of high dispersible mineral additions, it was conducted: - modernization of microcalorimeter and computerization of treatment of results of experiment; - the method of estimation of influence of additions is developed on the initial stages of hydratation of cement; - experimental estimation of influence of different types of additions on different of cements; - drawn on the results of experiments at building of unique objects in Kharkov, Kiev and Moscow, where applied concretes with mineral additions.
