The efficient method of coordinatewise splitting of model is offered, which is applied to numerical weather forecasting. The method allows to reduce quantity of data exchanges and their volume at the expense of solution accuracy. The parallel program implementation for the solution of the forecasting problem is developed and the numerical experiments on execution of the given implementation on the cluster multiprocessor architecture are made.
