It was suggested about the regulatory role of this fragment in vivo during the formation of dynamic equilibration between the coagulation and fibrinolysis. It has been discovered that 2-antiplasmin not only inhibits plasmin but also stimulates tPA-dependent plasminogen activation on fibrin clot.
