A role of titanium in decreasing the temperature of dissociation of the MA hydride phase has been established. It has been shown that the presence of Ti leads to an increase of the degree of MA dispersion and to positive influence upon the alloy surface state. It has been shown that the effect of decreasing of the temperature of dissociation of the hydride phase of МA Mg+5% wt.Ті observed in the first cycle remains in the following cycles. X-ray absorption spectra of hydrides of the intermetallic compound ZrV2 as well as its (ZrV2H2, ZrV2H4) hydrogen-sorption properties and thermal sdtability have been studied. A correlation between thermal stability of hydrides of АВ2 intermetallides and ionic component of their metal-hydrogen bonds has been established.
