It is noted that the actual possibilities of reception of multispectral digital satellite data and correspondingly it's proccessing, such as RGB technologies, are very effective in modern forecasting practice. The analysis of aerosol index trend fields and a discrimination between regions with unidirectional and oscillating long term variability were carried out. The correlation between seasonal, long term variability of aerosol and total ozone concentration was analysed.
