Its comparative analysis with EU methodology (according to requirements of the Water Frame Instruction) is made. The methodology of a statistical estimation of probability of excess of maximum permissible pollution and level of ecological safety of superficial waters is developed and the analysis of probability of excess of maximum concentration limit of separate components and level of ecological safety of the rivers of Ukraine is made. It is spent generalisations of given hydrochemical supervision of State Hydromerservice about a modern chemical compound of surface waters of Ukraine for 2005-2007. It is executed a quantitative ecological estimation of quality of superficial waters. Theoretical bases of forecasting of the maintenance of the main ions and a mineralization of water, organic substances and nutrients are developed. The edition "Hydrochemical reference book" has been prepared. Mean, maximal, and minimal concentrations of main chemical ingredients and most widely distributed pollutants of Ukrainian rivers, reservoirs and lakes are presented as well as water quality indexes and their variability for the years 1995-2006. Array of output data for hydrochemical computations is arranged and characteristic of classical and modern water analysis methods presented.
