Successful implementation of the IAEA technical cooperation projects in Ukraine in part of development of analytical and methodological support for the operation of state radiation monitoring system is demonstrated. Separate volume is dedicated to adaptation and testing of modern analytical methods of radiochemical and spectroscopy determination of radionuclide of natural and artificial origin in environment by the laboratories of the state radiation monitoring network of the Hydromet. Basic methodological principles and analysis of common procedures for the safety assessment of the radiation-hazard objects and radioactively contaminated territories are proposed.
