Methods of investigation- statistical methods, methods of numerical analysis, experiments conducting and mathematical modeling. To increase the reliability of metal structures heterogeneities detection a new thermoacoustic method of nondestructive testing is proposed. The method allows non-destructive testing for detecting heterogeneities in certain area. The proposed mathematical model, by which thermoplastic effect is estimated, is the base of thermoacoustic method. The calculation of the mathematical model is performed by means of finite elements. For temperature field distribution evaluation in the neighborhood crack a numeric model is developed, which implements thermoplastic effect. The results of calculations in image distribution of thermal fields in the vicinity of heterogeneity at a particular time are presented. Technology of thermoacoustic method control is given for proposed control method of nondestructive control implementing.
