Purpose - reduction of metal and increase the heataerodynamic efficiency of recuperative heat exchangers through the development and study of heat transfer and aerodynamic resistance of finned heat transfer surfaces on the basis of flat-oval tubes with incomplete fins. Research methods - definition of average heat transfer coefficients based on the results of measurements of the temperature field of fin and carrier tube wall. Scientific novelty - the first study of heat transfer regularities in staggered bundles of flat-oval tubes with incomplete fins. The influence of basic geometric and operational parameters on the intensity of heat transfer and aerodynamic resistance of the bundles found. Obtained correlations for the calculation of convective heat transfer and aerodynamic drag. Practical value - use of surfaces of the flat-oval tubes with incomplete fins instead of the surfaces of circular finned tubes for the same cost of power to move the coolant can increase heataerodynamic efficiency by 15 - 20%. Aerodynamic resistance of bundles of plane-oval finned tubes in the 1.3 - 1.5 times less than that of the bundles of circular finned tubes with the same geometric characteristics. Industries - dry cooling towers, air condensers, air-cooling technology products, boiler economizers. Product Description popup.authors Баранюк О.В. Бурлей В.Д. Рогачов В.А. Семеняко О.В.
