Energy- and water-saving methods of presowing soil cultivation and inter-row tillage were proposed; plant density in the period of harvest was optimized; a method of furrow sowing was worked out and grounded. Constructions of devices for presowing preparation of small portions of seed, typical for breeding process, were worked out. According to the research results, 9 patents of Ukraine were obtained.
