The objective of work is issuing recommendations about expansion joints designing for road bridges structures. The recommendations will meet a long-term economical effect caused by increase in service durability of artificial structures and reduction of expenses on road bridges repairs. It became possible thanks to applying of modern gradation system of elastic joints , which was developed as criterion for expansion joint class and use, as basic for needed kind, while developing designing works. Method of research is a theoretical one. The results of research work will be used in designing of motor road bridges. Field of application is transport constructions on motor roads.
