Theoretical-methodological bases to evaluate regional natural recreational resources are elaborated. The value of natural, territorial productivity and population provision with recreational potentials within Ukrainian and Slovakian regions is estimated. The cartographic modeling of the value, population provision and territorial productivity of natural recreational potentials within Ukrainian and Slovakian regions is realized. Recreational territories (areas of economic significance) proper, mineral waters and medicinal muds are the basic pre-conditions for the formation of the country's natural recreational potential, development of sanatorium-resort treatment, rest and tourism. Evaluation of the potential of natural recreational areas in natural expression is to be calculated proceeding from the capacities to satisfy population standard needs in recreational establishments, places of sanatorium-resort treatment, long- and short-term rest and tourism. Calculated in man-hours, normative needs are correlated between urban and rural population in accordance with acting parameters of rest and treatment areas planning. The calculus includes data on potential needs in recreational territories within Ukraine, as well as capacities of their provision to satisfy the other world regions recreants. Calculated parameters of the value, economic and territorial productivity of natural recreational potential within Ukrainian regions are highlighted in cartographic models series.
