Romodanov AMS Ukraine" popup.description2 The report resemles the research of the recovery effect of synthetic macroporous hydrogel implantation and of the olfactory bulb cells allogenic transplantation after the modelling of spinal cord injury. The scientific novelty of the scientific research work includes determination of peculiarites of the effect of hydrogel implantation and olfactory bulb cells transplantation upon traumatic process course, the study of the efficiency of the above-mentioned methods of spinal injury treatment, in posttraumatic recovery, the determination of its probable mechanisms. The presented results are persuasive as hydrogel implantation produces reliable positive effects on functional level. The authors proved the fact of axons regenerative growth in the hydrogel implantation zone. It was discavered that olfactory bulb cells transplantation, despite moderately expressed positive functional effect, couses the reduction of provoked electrical activity in neuro-muscular apparatus below the injury level. The obtained data will promote establishing the pathophysiological-based methods of spinal injury recovery treatment, improving its results that condition the expediency of the approbated methodes application in future clinical research.
