The information database of methods of physical-mechanical properties of hardware was developed. It contains normative documents, tutorials, monographs, reference books, patents and articles in mentioned field of science. It contains information related to physical-mechanical properties of steels and methods and devices of non-destructive testing used for physical-mechanical properties definition. The new approach to physical-mechanical properties definition of steels with allowance for their structural system was proposed. It is based on allowance of several informative parameters (hardness, thermal conductivity, resistivity) and using artificial neural network algorithms for properties' interconnection definition. The experimental assembly for physical-mechanical properties of hardware investigation was developed and adjusted. Basing on developed programme and procedure the complex of experimental investigation was carried out. The requirements specification on research and construction work "Development, production and implementation of information-measuring system for structural system control and physical-mechanical properties definitions" and normative draft "Non-destructive testing and physical-mechanical properties of hardware of long-term usage" were developed.
