Project goals include adoption and methodic development to use GDM software over implementation into the practice of geological prospecting and exploration. Primary data for works include licensed GDM software purchased by UkrSGRI, as well as a range of data sets on geological objects of Ukraine provided by scientific divisions of UkrSGRI. The report contains results of methodic development to use GDM software taking into account constraints concerning licensed software where supplementary technical documentation comprises the part of the developer's (BRGM) ownership rights and cannot be distributed over third parties. Methodic blocks are developed with regard to design of drill-hole columns, base maps, drill-hole data presentation in vertical sections, calculation of surfaces, geological body modeling, processing of inclined drill-hole data, and use of some additional and special GDM functions. GDM software capacities are elaborated on the examples of some geological objects of Ukraine including Chimerpilskiy gold occurrence, Mayske and Surozke gold deposits, Ratnivska copper-bearing site, Pasichnyanska oil-gas-bearing field, stratigraphic subdivisions and water-bearing horizons in Pervomayskiy area of Ukrainian Shield. In UkrSGRI the local network prototype is developed for GDM use in scientific subdivisions under "client-server" mode in accordance with defined internal rules and timetable sharing. Methodic handbook on GDM is prepared for distribution over enterprises of geological branch.
