In the report the substantiation of nuclear safety of ISF-1 with use of fuel burnup is presented for the most dangerous cases. This substantiation executed with use of axial irregularity of burnup distribution and change of concentration of 5 fuel isotopes during the burning. Additional factors which can lead to deterioration of nuclear safety are examined.
