It has been established that general range of tube generatrix nonlinearity values is within 0-26 mm. Quality of tubes having nonlinearity over 0,1% of length avarages 0.7% of the total production volume. Technology of making welded large diameter pipes has been developed. This technology parameters and parameters of equipment for its realization allow decrease in nonlinearity to 0.1% of length for the entire tube production volume.
