The single crystals of Cu6PS5X (X= I, Br) superionic conductors were synthesized and growth by chemical transport method, obtained them as micro- and nanocrystalline powder as well as nanocomposites on their base were fabricatedі. The structural investigations of obtained materials by the methods of X-ray difraction, transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were carried out. The Raman scattering of micro- and nanocrystalline Cu6PS5X (X= I, Br) superionic conductors was studied. The considerable influence of size effects on Raman scattering was observed as well as the changes of the bands in Raman scattering spectra of micro- and nanocrystalline суперіонних провідників Cu6PS5X (X= I, Br) superionic conductors. The observed changes in Raman scattering spectra was related to the surface phonon modes of Frohlich type. The luminescence of micro- and nanocrystalline Cu6PS5X (X= I, Br) superionic conductors was investigated. The considerable influence of size effects on luminescence spectra was observed. The average crystalite size decrease leads to the short-wave shift of the bands, to the changes of their halfwidth as well as the intensity redistribution among them.
