Objective of inquiry: effectiveness advancement of patients with cervical spine osteochondrosis surgical treatment, reduction of the incidence of postoperative complications, life quality improvement and decrease of patients' invalidization. Methods of inquiry: neurological clinical examination; methods of radial diagnostics (magnetic resonance therapy, spondylography, X-ray computer tomography, ultrasonic duplex vascular scanning); neurophysiologic methods; morphological and biochemical methods of invertebral discs investigation; stathystical analysis. Optimal diagnostyic scheme was suggested. Additionally, clinical and morphological criteria for differential application of recent low-invasive methods of cervical discogenic neurocompressive syndromes surgical treatment such as percutaneous laser microdiscectomy, endoscopic microdiscectomy and microsurgical interventions were developed. Structural alterations of cervical intervertebral discs after surgical laser influence were studied. The relationships between the extent of hernial weight lowering and its primary water receptivity and also between the width of destruction zone and general portion of laser irradiation were established.
