It was 86% and 88% patients up to 3 years in Odessa and Kiev accordingly, in north-eastern regions percent of children up to 3 years was 51% - in Sumi and 66% in Kharkov. In a western region (Lvov) children up to 3 years made 76% from those, who enter the hospitals. Correlation of boys and girls was approximately identical. A percent of determined parasitic pathogens in acute diarrhea was 2, 14 %. G. lamblia, E. hystolitica and C. parvum was registered accordingly in 1,3%, 0,4% and 0,2 %. Considerably more frequentlywere registered antigens of Campylovacter coli/jejuni. Totally percent of determined positive results for these pathogens in Ukraine was 5,5%. It was higher (р<0,01) in Kharkov - 9,0 % and lower - in Odessa - 2,0 %. Toxin of Cl.perfringens determined in 5,8 % of samples in winter period, and in 2,0 % during summer season, toxin A/B of Cl.difficile generally was registered only in summer at 1,5 % of tested children. These pathogens play a certain role in development of acute gastroenterititis in children of early age in Ukraine and registered on levels, characteristic for the developed countries. ELISA is a rapid and comfortable screening method for determination of antigens in feces.
