Aim: increase of vegetable plants yield and quality, raising of production paying and reduce of a produce unit cost price. Methods: visual, measuring, weight, chemical, statistic, calculating. It is determined that when growing cucumber, bulb onion, carrot, late white head cabbage it is best to use drop irrigation with appropriate levels of pre-irrigating moisture of the soil during local fertilization in the soil and conduction of fertigations. There are proposed optimal schemes of plants placing (50+90 cm for cucumber and cabbage; 24+24+24+68 cm for onion and carrot), which ensure moisturing of the soil root-inhabited layer and saving of watering pipe line in 1,5-2,0 times. Combined application of hydrosowing and drop irrigation allows to approximate the field germination of seeds to the laboratory level, in the result of which the sowing rate reduces in 2,0-2,5 times. With worked up technologies the marketable yield of cucumber, onion and carrot reaches about 40 t/ha, cabbage - 80 t/ha, paying is accordingly 152%, 80, 68, 123%, saving of fertilizers - 50%, ir-rigating water - up to 30%, labour expenditures - up to 20%. The technologies have been approbated at agricultural enterprises of different forms of property in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. Sphere of application: vegetable growing.
