Information × Registration Number 0209U010805, 0107U007180 , R & D reports Title Nanomaterials technology of layered compounds for independent energetics. popup.stage_title Head Kovalyuk Zakhar Dmytrovych, Registration Date 25-12-2009 Organization Chernivtsi Department of the Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 It is established that surfaces of oxidized and unoxidized Bi2Te3 and Bi2Se3 crystals contains objects in the form of nanoneedles, nanorods, and nanoislands, which are oriented normally to cleaved surfaces; it is shown that nanodimensional Cu4Bi5S10 and Cu4Bi6S11 compounds, being used as cathode materials, make it possible to improve the capacitance and power parameters of lithium power sources; in the framework of a theoretical approach, based on the Green's function diagrammatic technique, electron - electron interactions are identified as the main reason for the electron decoherence in transport through carbon nanotubes; a technology of obtaining carbon materials from vegetable substances is developed and it is shown that their energy-storaging characteristics correspond to those for carbon nanotubes; for KNO3- intercalates of GaSe and InSe it is found the existence of charge accumulation between the layers of the semiconductors and nanodimensional inclusions of potassium nitrate, i.e. intercalation nanocapacitors become created.
